CRIOBE, Mo’orea X Hello Reef Tahiti

We work closely with the Moorea branch of CRIOBE under the supervision of Pierre Sasal, the station’s director.

Whether it’s for the reseeding of the environment or for our impact studies, we progress together with the scientists from the Opunohu station.

We are assisting researcher Suzy Mills in her research program on anemones and their hosts.

Together, we are repopulating the lagoon of the hotels with anemones, on which we release clownfish and dascyllus, which will later be studied.

Benoit Espiau, the laboratory technician in biomolecule technology, performs water and substrate analyses for our impact studies to highlight the origin of certain issues and improve the environmental conditions.

Yannick Chancerelle provides his expertise in special projects related to the maritime space management plan of Moorea.
